This lighthouse, built in 1820, formerly stood on Little Cumberland Island GA. It was dismantled and brought to Amelia Island FL from Little Cumberland Island GA in 1838. It was renovated in classic Victorian style in 1885. It was equipped with a 3rd-order Fresnel lens that currently shines each night.
