Cadgwith is a historic and traditional Cornish fishing village located on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. Comprising a tight cluster of characterful fishing cottages (including thatched cottages), pubs and shops near the steep cove and shingle beach where fishing boats moor for shelter. The cove has high cliffs on both sides and incoming waves can be compressed and surprisingly rise steeply before crashing on to the beach. The Cadgwith Cove pub is famous for hosting gigs of traditional Cornish fishing songs on a Friday evening.
