A local photo studio and authorities of a prison in southwest Chinas Chongqing Municipality held a wedding photography event for a group of inmates to celebrate the upcoming traditional Chinese Qixi Festival which falls on Tuesday (13 August 2013) this year. 6 inmates and their girlfriends or wives were dressed up in suits and wedding gowns to take their special wedding photos. The event was held not only to celebrate Qixi Fesitival but also to educate the inmates and others to well serve their sentences in the prison. Qixi Festival, known as Chinese Valentines Day, falls on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month on the Chinese calendar.
