The Co-cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda is located in the heart of the old town of Logroño, nestled between the streets Portales and Caballerías and the Plaza del Mercado. It stands on a primitive Romanesque church that in 1435 acquired the rank of Collegiate Church, merging with that of San Martín de Albelda. Perhaps this fact, together with the economic and demographic development that the city was acquiring, influenced the decision to build a new temple. The church is a work of the sixteenth century, with numerous reforms in the seventeenth, when the head was expanded, and in the eighteenth, adding to the foot the chapel of the Angels, the west portal and the towers, which gives it on the outside a purely baroque look. The oldest part is made up of the central body. Logroño, Spain
