---- Windenergieanlagen durch Mingyang Electric whirl hergestellten Strom zu einem windpark am Stadtrand von Urumqi im Nordwesten Chinas Xin zu generieren
--FILE--Wind turbines manufactured by Mingyang Electric whirl to generate electricity at a wind farm on the outskirts of Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 20 June 2015. China's wind power producers have seen marked increases in output and profits in the year's first half on the back of rising installations and better resources, but bottlenecks at power grids and delays by Beijing in the payment of subsidies cast a shadow over the sector. But industry executives are optimistic about the prospects, pointing to the likely implementation by Beijing of long-awaited minimum renewable energy power purchase quotas by local governments and the construction of more high-capacity long-distance power lines for sending excess power in wind-rich remote regions to demand centres. This year, completion volume is expected to be particularly high, since a tariff cut announced in January means projects approved before and completed after this year will be subject to lower tariffs.
