Taiwan actor and director Doze Niu has been accused of sexual assault by a woman working on his new film and is currently under investigation, Taiwan's Central News Agency reported. Niu's accuser was found by doctors to have suffered physical injuries after allegedly being assaulted by Niu, and reported the assault to police on Wednesday, Central News Agency said. Niu, 52, began his career as an actor but earned acclaim as a director after the release of his 2010 gangster film "Monga." Niu's 2014 film "Paradise in Service, " set in a military brothel, landed him in trouble when he was given a suspended jail sentence for smuggling a cinematographer onto a naval base.
