Orangs are beautiful and intelligent and seem to assess everything about your character as they look at you with their gentle eyes. They are not, however beautiful movers. They use their large weight and incredible strength to cause trees to lean toward the one they want to get into. It is slow, ponderous and completely ungainly. Kind of like watching icebergs moving with that slow, unstoppable easy drift. You can hear an Orang moving a mile off, but when you know a female weighs up to 50kg and a male weighs up to 90kg and you see them hanging by one arm almost indefinitely without any sign of stress, well, ....., you try it and see how long you last! Nice to watch it all from treetop level in our hide.
