The province of Piacenza, located in the region of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy, hides some medieval villages of great beauty. Vigoleno is perhaps the smallest of all them, but its small size makes it even more charming. Strolling through its small streets among stone houses allows us to move with the imagination to the Middle Ages, especially at the end of the day when the town begin to empty. After touring every corner of the historic center and taste the traditional "torta fritta", I climbed this nearby hill from where I had planned to photograph the blue hour. Behind me lay a forest where at nightfall the sounds of the animals began to fill the atmosphere with its melody. In the distance a storm started and the thunders gave way to some rays that luckily I was able to capture. It's curious how sometimes nature and our mood seem to match, as if they were deeply connected.
