Tuk Tuk tourist taxi service travelling along King's Parade on Liverpool's waterfront. The tuk tuk, as it is known in Thailand, is a lightweight three wheeled auto rickshaw, most commonly found in tropical and sub-topical areas with high population densities. A limited number can be found in the UK where they are considered a novelty. The few operating in Liverpool were withdrawn from service in September 2016 when their operator was unable to reach agreement with Liverpool city council on where they should operate from, though the vehicles can still be hired privately.
