Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam is an Italian aeronautics manufacturer/ It was founded in 1986. The company has two primary activities: it makes aircraft parts for other manufacturers, and makes its own range of light aircraft. As of 2015, Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam operates in three production facilities. The Casoria facility is located adjacent to Naples Capodichino Airport. The Capua facility is located adjacent to the Oreste Salomone Airport. In 2015 a facility was established in Sebring, Florida, USA to support North American operators.The Tecnam P2006T, a four-seat twin engined aircraft, first flew in 2007. It has two 100 hp Rotax 912S piston engines, variable pitch propellers, and retractable landing gear. The P2006T was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2009, and there are approximately 15 aircraft now[when?] flying in Europe. Part 23 FAA certification in the United States was completed in 2010. In October 2015 the company partnered with Liaoning United Aviation, a division of Shenyang Aircraft Corporation to produce the Chinese-certified Tecnam P2006T at Faque Airport in China, for delivery to customers in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The two-seat Tecnam P2008JC and the four-seat Tecnam P2010 will be produced at the same plant once certified
