Blakeney is a coastal village and lies within the Norfolk's coast area of outstanding natural beauty and the north Norfolk heritage coast. Blakeney Point is one of the largest expanses of undeveloped coastal habitat in Europe. It is most famous for its large colony of Grey and common seals which congregate out on the tip of the point. It became Norfolk's first nature reserve when it was taken over by the National Trust in 1912 mainly to protect the areas amazing bird lifeMorston is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 8.68 km2 (3.35 sq mi) and had a population of 86 in 42 households as of the 2001 census.[1] For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk. Like its neighbour Blakeney, Morston, used to be a major port 400 years ago, but is now only used by a small number of fishing boats, leisure craft and the regular seal watching trips which leave for Blakeney Point.
