Priory Farm is built on the site of Selborne Priory, about 1.5 km north east of the village of Selborne in Hampshire, England. The Priory was founded in 1233 and officially dissolved in 1484 after the Augustinian Order discovered that there were no canons in residence and that the buildings were dilapidated. The nearby Oakhanger Stream is reputed to be haunted by a monk from the old priory. On the hills behind the farm is Coombe Wood through which the 21 mile Hangers Way long distance footpath passes on its way south from Alton railway station to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
