So everybody in the photography community all over the United States has been anxiously waiting for the "Rise of the Super Moon" on Sunday August 10th. We've consulted The Photographer's Ephemeris, an app that tells you accurately the position of celestial objects, their rise and set times; we've prepared the gear and made sure we would find a safe place from where to photograph, but I think many failed to consider the whims of Nature. All the days leading up to Sunday had seen no considerable cloud cover in the Eastern sky, but on this day late afternoon thunderstorms had developed. Yes, it made for a beautiful sky a few minutes before sunset, (for what I wasn't ready with my camera!) but ultimately what we all wanted to photograph was the Super Moon. Ha! No problem, I've always said that I'll take what God throws at me. I can wait until September 15th for another Super Luna. Thanks for looking!
