The "Iron Duke" being towed through the Narrows at the entrance to Care Loch, Firth of Clyde, on her way to Faslane where she is to be broken up by Metal Industries Ltd. The 34 year old battleship "Iron Duke", was Admiral Tellicoe's famous flagship at the Battle of Jutland in 1916. She came from the Orkneys where, after being bombed by the Germans in 1939, beached and refloated at depot ship, she flew the flag of the Admiral commanding the Orkneys and Shetlands.
