I had wanted to visit Mantova and take this picture at dusk since long time ago. After a long wait, the scaffolding, that covered part of the monuments due to the damage of the earthquake of 2012, had been removed. The weather forecast was not good, but I saw that it was not raining by the webcam located in the city, and that was enough to decide to take the car and go there. When I arrived, nothing presaged adverse weather conditions. After walking for a couple of hours around the city, I went to take the photograph. I was placing the tripod when the sky began to roar and moments later a spectacular storm started. Luckily, I was able to take refuge under a kind of wooden tent. My car was not far away but I decided to wait and not give up. In less than half an hour the heavy rain and wind ceased, the sky dyed with wonderful colors and once again I could see that storms always pass, and after them sometimes the world becomes even more wonderful.
