Collegiate Basilica of Santa Maria, or popularly called La Seu is the landmark gothic religious Spaniard. Crown Puig Cardener, historic cradle of the city, from where it provides a good view over the river. It occupies the space of older religious and civil constructions. It is undoubtedly the most classic and pretty image of the city. This work is declared a national cultural interest. The first name refers to the chapter of canons which hosts while the basilica designation corresponds to the title granted in 1886 by Pope Leo XIII. In 1931 it was declared a historic-artistic monument of national character. Hierarchically, is a co-cathedral, as the diocese of Vic, despite having the bishop's residence in Vic, is two-headed, two cathedrals and two chapters of canons: Manresa and Vic. The Old Bridge crosses the river Cardener at the southwest entrance of Manresa (Bages), declared a national cultural interest. The bridge has undergone several destructions. Of Roman origin, now is the faithful reconstruction of a medieval bridge, also rebuilt in the twelfth century, of which only the bases of the central arch. The bridge, which was destroyed in 1939 and rebuilt between 1960 and 1962, drawn eight arches with a maximum height of 25 m above the river flow. Along with the Cathedral and the Cave of St. Ignatius, are the most characteristic silhouette of the city. The Cave of San Ignacio is an architectural ensemble of the town of Manresa (Bages) part of the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. They set a baroque church and a modern neoclàssic.Juntament the Old Bridge and the silhouette Romanesque Gothic Cathedral, is one of the classic images of the entrance to the city of Manresa.
