Sarah Johnson of the women's boxing team Sierra Leone West Africa. The team is desperately trying for an opportunity to compete in the London Olympics 2012 because for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games there will be a women's boxing category. Though the women are from one of the world's poorest countries, with pitiful facilities and little incentives they have propelled themselves into a gruelling training programme in the hope that a miracle will happen and they will secure funding to be able to, at least, be given a chance to qualify for the games. Many of the women are unemployed or students, and some are single mothers. I have been documenting the women's fight for the last four years and am trying to secure funding/assistance for members of the team to the designated Olympic training camps in Yorkshire in the run-up to the Olympics.
