A Crimson-rumped Toucanet, a member of the toucan family, perches on a moss-covered branch. This primarily green bird shows multiple layers of color when seen at close view. Here the shading from yellow green to turquoise to forest green is easy to make out. He has a round, black eye surrounded by red skin. His beak is long and pointed, wide, red at the base and black at the center and the tip is pointed. There is a small white line between his beak and face. The bird is looking to the left, showing a single eye, full profile of the beak, and full frontal chest. The background is split between a leafy branch that frames the right side of the bird and a muted purple gray green background on the left hand side of the photo. There is room for text or for the crop of your choice.
