171004-N-OW019-151 U.S 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Oct. 4, 2017) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) receives fuel from the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) in conjunction with the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS). Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
