The new Museum of Acropolis has become sort of a symbol of the modern "face" of Greece, something like the Rion-Antirion bridge, or the Calatrava Roof at the Olympic Stadium. To be really honest, when I saw it from the outside, I wasn't very enthusiastic, but when I went inside, it really is wonderful, spectacular, modern and very "visitor-friendly", really something that no visitor of Athens should miss! The New Acropolis Museum is also a great "argument" in the Greek case for the return of the stolen Marbles of Parthenon, from Great Britain. Now, in Athens there is a museum with the perfect conditions to ensure the preservation of the masterpieces of the Greek Antiquity.
