The smallest house in Great Britain is situated on the Quayside at Conwy, North Wales. The house is only 6ft wide by 8ft deep by 10ft high, approx. 1.8 metres wide by 3.05metres high. Once owned by 6ft fisherman – Robert Jones – the rooms were too small for him to stand up in and there was no room for a toilet within the walls, but that would have been a common occurrence in days gone by. This ‘one up – one down’ house has been recognised by the Guinness Book of Records and is one of many popular attractions in the medieval walled town of Conwy. A lady in traditional Welsh costume collects a small fee (under a pound in 2008) before letting you enter the property for the grand tour, but don't forget to mind your head! ....
