This original artwork was created from gestures (hand movements) captured on a scanner. By isolating and layering organic abstract shapes found in the scanned gestures, motifs reminiscent of bugs and flowers are created. Various methods of combining these motifs are used to create new compositions. I often work very large scale, but the limitations of uploading to Alamy effect my file sizes.
