Allume is a small rocky beach which can be reached from Campese after a 30-minute walk and a steep descent. It is relatively quiet as it is difficult to reach and although it is small the sea is clean and the bay is sheltered. There is an abandoned mine along the beach, and in the sheer rock-faces Blue Rock Thrushes nest and can often be heard singing.
