Photo by Guy Harrop .Seemples the football mad meerkat gets in some practise for the world cup at Exmoor Zoo in Devon. The hand reared baby 14 week old meerkat has been playing with balls from about 3-4 weeks old, as owner Lynn Reynolds, has been increasing their size as she has grown. Now 10 inches tall she will grow to 16-18 inches when full size and due to her active ball skills has to keep up with her healthy diet of meat and 3 veg ( chicken or locusts with a mix of carrot, cauliflower, sweet potato, broccoli or swede). No doubt Seemples will be catching up with the highlights of the World cup at the start date of June 10th. Pictured is Seemples showing her English colours.
