Sada Shapla (white waterlily) is the national flower of Bangladesh, and is usually found in the countries ponds, haors and lakes. In the rainy season the water bodies of Bangladesh are full of water, and there was born of Shapla flower. It does not need to be planted; it naturally starts to grow in miles of land. It is one kind of food and vegetables also. Local farmers take their boats out into nearby lakes to harvest waterlilies to sell in markets being in Bangladesh capital of Dhaka. Sometimes, children too get involved, swimming in lakes to collect these flowers to earn a little spending money. And in this rainy season waterlilies is known as the most preferred food for all.
