Customers queue up to buy layered cakes in front of mainland China's second boutique of New York cake brand Lady M at Xintiandi, a tourist attraction complex, in Shanghai, China, 14 December 2017. Popular IFC Mall-based cake shop Lady M has ventured over to Puxi, opening a new location in Xintiandi. Cake fans will now be able to tuck into their favourite slices west of the river. The store's signature mille crepe - consisting of layers of paper-thin, handmade crepes with delicate, cloud-like vanilla cream ¨C will be available, along with other great offerings such as dark chocolate and raspberry cake, chestnut cream cake and more. The prices of the slices range between 68-75RMB, so trips to Lady M may be more of a treat than a regular occurrence ¨C not that we're making any assumptions about your cake budget... Also, be prepared for queues, as the opening of the shop's IFC location proved incredibly popular, and we're expecting the same here.
