A vintage desk is pictured at Little Red Schoolhouse, also known as Blakely School, in Baldwin County Bicentennial Park, April 22, 2023, in Stockton, Alabama. The school was built by African-Americans in 1920 to serve Bromley community students in grades one through nine. It is believed to be the last Rosenwald School in Baldwin County. The Rosenwald School project, active from 1913-1932, created more than 5, 000 schools, shops, and teacher homes for the education of African-American children in the South.
