Ein Gemeindemitglied legt während seines Grab Side Funeral Service auf dem Arlington National Cemetery, VA, ein Kriegsgefangenenlager auf den Sarg des Kapitäns der US Air Force (CPT) Jefferson Scott Dotson. CPT Dotson, ein Vietnam war Fighter Pilot, der der taktischen Fighter Squadron (TFS) von 416. zugeteilt wurde, wurde vor 33 Jahren als vermisst in Aktion (MIA) erklärt, als sein Kämpfer während einer Mission über dem Ho Chi Minh Trail in Zentral-Laos unterging. Die Überreste von CPT Dotsons wurden entdeckt und dann durch DNA-Tests positiv identifiziert. Pensionierter Oberstleutnant Richard "Gen" Smith, ehemalige 50th Flying Training Squadron Commander, hält ein Kriegsgefangener Armband 17. Okt. 2017, in seinem Haus in West Point, Mississippi. Das Armband war einer von Hunderten, die er zu ihm zurückgekehrt war, nachdem er zurückgekehrt war. Das Datum Smith wurde abgeschossen, Oktober 25, 1967, ist auf dem Armband eingeschrieben, zusammen mit seinem Rang und Namen. Die Armbänder helfen, die Erinnerung an die Kriegsgefangenen und die Missing in Action halten. (U.s.
