part of a set of photographs showing the original state of a tiled roof, with extensive shifting and cracking of tiles. The property also had damaged and blocked gutters and downpipes. The project involved removal of all existing tiles and the installation of a membrane. The roof was then battened and tiled with new tiles and sealed from the weather. Pictures show the various valleys, abutments, dormer and gable treatments used. The guttering was replaced with aluminium extruded guttering which is made to size on site. Leaf guards were fitted throughout due to the significant catchment of leaves from nearby trees. The roof has now been in place through storms, heavy rainfall and snowfall and has passed each test with flying colours.
