A Porsche 911 GT3 RS sports car, left, and a Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo Concept are unveiled during the 15th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, also known as Auto China 2018, in Beijing, China, 25 April 2018. Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Mission E Cross Turismo made their Asia debut on April 25 at the Beijing Auto Show. Porsche rolled out the Mission E Cross Turismo concept and said the show car had good prospects for making it into production at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. The Mission E Cross Turismo is essentially 2015's Mission E concept with a raised ride height and wagon-like tail. The original Mission E, which will spawn a production model in late 2019, was a sedan but with a svelte, almost coupe-like body. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS set another benchmark for street-legal sports cars at the Nurburgring-Nordschleife circuit in Germany. Porsche works race driver Kevin Estre set a lap time in 6:56.4 minutes with the 520-hp GT3 RS. The Frenchman¯s lap time was 24 seconds faster than the best time achieved with the previous GT3 RS model.
