“Burnley and Pendle’s principal public transport operator Transdev has launched a new fleet of buses on the X43 route connecting Nelson, Burnley, Rawtenstall, Prestwich and Manchester city centre up to every 15 minutes. The improved fleet represents a £3million investment in the Witch Way route. The new Volvo Wright buses are replacing vehicles that are eight years old, bringing real benefits to Transdev customers. The 15 state of the art vehicles provide an outstanding level of bus travel. Comfortable leather seating, ample leg room, tinted windows and CCTV cameras throughout mean passengers can travel in both comfort and security, plus the free WiFi means passengers can stay online while they’re onboard. And on the buses’ livery the traditional image of a witch has been replaced with a striking new icon – Transdev’s own “good witch”. With blonde hair, red shoes and lipstick, and a shorter dress than before, she’s sure to cast a spell on anyone who sees her.”
