FACUA has launched various appeals to consumers and organizations to join, as a protest against the rise in the price of electricity, in the various planned calls. The purpose of these demonstrations is to demand from the Government of Spain mechanisms for citizens to maintain their rights against energy abuses. The calls will be present in all provincial capitals throughout the national territory, the demonstration has been held in Madrid, at the doors of the Ministry for the ecological transition, as well as other locations such as the Iberdrola headquarters in Bilbao, the Endesa's headquarters in Seville or Naturgy's in Barcelona. Facua has worked to effectively manage energy poverty as well as to guarantee electricity supply at a fair price. These two objectives must be the main priority of the Spanish Government as well as of the companies in the energy sector. For this reason, the organization has created a series of claims to prevent abuse and guarantee this access, detailed below. This rate will represent a new social bonus that will result in a discount of at least 50% of the energy bill. It will be aimed at families whose income does not exceed the sum of two minimum wages. Depending on the number of children, disabled, dependent or over 65 years of age, this sum would rise to three minimum wages. On the other hand, Facua calls for a reform of the pricing system, so that electricity generation technologies are no longer subject to to daily auction, but their maximum prices are set in advance by the Government of Spain itself. Similarly, the consumer body asks the Government to create a coordinated process so that the beneficiaries of the Minimum Vital Income, the minimum income for the insertion of the autonomous communities and the beneficiaries of aid and social benefits at the local level, can join in effectively, to guarantee access to a basic supply such as electricity. Family members who do not pay their bills will not be victims of supply cuts whene
