AfD supporters met at the Central Station to protest against Government policy. The right wing anti-immigration party protesters marched to the Brandenburg Gate where they were challenged by numerous counter protests organised by left-wing political groups, Berlin Clubs, DJs and 'The Many' Artists' and actors' association. Protests ranged from music-playing DJs in cars, a boat parade on the Spree and a "Shining Demonstration' .The counter 'Stop the Hatred' demonstrators oppose right-wing extremism and stand for democracy and a diverse Society..
