Buildings in Chicago skyline as night settles on the city while some buildings reflect the final light of day. The dominant buildings in the scene are the black monolith-like John Hancock Building, the twin-towered 900 N. Michigan Avenue Building at center right and the silver-reflective Trump Tower at right background. In front of the Hancock Building are two additional famous Chicago landmark buildings. At front, the Drake Hotel, built in 1920 and beyond the Palmolive Building (formerly the Playboy Building). The 37-story, art-deco Palmolive Building dates from 1929 and was designed by famed architects Holabird Root. The beacon at its top is named for famous aviator Charles Lindbergh. The streajed lights are from traffic along Lake Shore Drive and the reflections in the immediate right foreground are on a lake wall near North Avenue Beach.
