A reconstruction of the Queen Eleanor Cross that currently stands outside of Charing Cross railway station. It was erected in 1864-1865. The original, (One of several Eleanor crosses around the country) stood a short distance away in Charing Cross and marked the spot of all distances to the centre of London. The original cross was destroyed in 1647.
