Deal Town Hall is a Grade II listed structure built in 1803. Situated in the High Street of the picturesque seaside Town of Deal, just two minutes walk from the seafront and a fine selection of restaurants and hotels. This is flanked by round-headed windows. On the right side is a portion of lower elevation which forms the Mayor's Parlour having a simple round-headed doorcase with 6 panelled door. Tuscan colonnade. A drinking fountain of 1875 has been inserted in the corner by Earl Grenville, Warden of the Cinque Ports at that time. The side elevation is lower and has a slate roof and 3 sashes with glazing bars intact on the 1st floor only and a round-headed doorcase. The Town Hall and Nos 115 to 127 (odd) form a group. The entrance is situated in the charming outside Undercroft and is accessible via a large spiral staircase or lift. The elegant oak-panelled chamber is a unique venue steeped in history, surrounded by stunning oil paintings and artefacts, providing an intimate atmosphere suitable for all types of events and functions, and can accommodate up to 80 people.
