The China International Big Data Industry Expo has kicked off in Guiyang, the capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province. More than 40-thousand participants from nearly 30 countries and regions are at the Expo. Chuck Tinte has more. "China is implementing a national big data strategy centered on building up the country's strength in cyberspace and nurturing a digital China." These remarks were written in a congratulatory letter by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the opening of the China International Big Data Industry Expo in Guiyang on Saturday. Xi called for enhanced international exchange and cooperation on the development of the big data industry.
