View N of Ballymeanoch Standing Stones in Kilmartin Glen, Argyll, Scotland, UK, showing the four-stone row which is 14.5m long & aligned NW-SE. The two central stones are richly decorated with plain cupmarks & cup-and-ring markings. There is a parallel line of two stones to the SW; the two linear alignments may once have formed an avenue with alignments built in to significant positions of the sun & moon. The stones are graded up in height from NW to SE; the tallest stone is over 4m high. There is a kerb cairn 30m NE of these stones & a ploughed out henge monument 130m to the SW. The henge had a central cairn with two burial cists one of which contained an Early Bronze Age beaker.
