An ancient anchor stone which was discovered is opened to public at a museum in Matsuura City, Nagasaki Prefecture, western Japan and Kyusyu island region, on October 8, 2022. The anchor stone is believed to have been used for 20 to 30-meter-long Genko ship. Mongolia invasions to Japan were taken by Kublai Khan of the Yuan dynasty in 1274 and 1281 to conquer the Japanese archipelago.
