Amtsgericht Wedding, District Court, Brunnenplatz 1, Gesundbrunnen, Mitte, Berlin Neo-Gothic style building by Architects Rudolf Mönnich and Paul Thoemer. Built 1902-6 The multi-wing, five-storey listed building has a central entrance and two wings. In the corners of the left and right wings to the side of the portal area, there is a stair tower. The portal area is decorated with stepped gables in the neo-Gothic style. An allegorical figure of Justitia is stands above the ornate bronze and copper-clad ornate entrance doors. The Justice statue was vandalized in 1988 and replaced with a reconstruction by sculptor Wiedemann in 2006 In the gable of the portal, an imperial eagle with a swastika in an oak wreath was attached after 1933 and this still exists but the swastika has been removed. The building was badly damaged in World War II, but restored after the end of the war and expanded at the back in 1957/1958. The entire building complex is a listed building
