View from the top of Lee Peak (elev. 7, 508') in the Sky Lakes Wilderness, Oregon. The view here is nice in all directions to the north one can see all of Crater Lakes (Mt. Mazama) including Union Peak, Mt. Scott, & even distant Mount Bailey & Mt. Thielsen. To the south is Pelican Butte, Mountain Lakes Wilderness including Aspen Butte, Mt. McLoughlin, & even distant Mt. Shasta though it was in the clouds. In the immediate vicinity to the south is Luther Mountain, which was named to counter attack this peak. Devils Peak, Lucifer, Venus, Jupiter, & Slate Peak are also in the vicinity. Directly below lies the Seven Lakes Basin & to the southeast one sees Upper Klamath Lake. The Pacific Crest Trail passes directly below the summit from the south to which I met three guys who had started at Siskiyou Summit near Ashland & were planning to hike all of Oregon to Cascade Lakes along the Columbia River, which would take roughly three weeks.
