Panorama taken by the Brandenburger Tor, one of the the most important symbol of Berlin as well as Germany. The Brandenburg gates are only one of the many gates found in Berlin; each gate is named by the direction they lead to. The gates were built by Karl Gotthard Langhans in the end of 18th century. They consist of 6 doric pillars on each side (12 in total). On the top is the goddess of peace, riding a quadriga. The pano nicely shows the details of the doric pillars on one side and the Pariser Platz with the famous Hotel Adlon on the other side.
