19/07/13 Historic boats Clover (1935), Fazeley (1921) and Alder moored by the tow-path. The 360 degree images feature these vessels. Fazeley and Clover are still working boats and are currently laden with more than 35 tons of coal combined. "With this much coal on board they sit very low in the water and with the canal water levels getting low it's been a struggle getting here, rocking and rolling and bumping on the bottom, " said owner Michael Pinnock. Hundreds of narrow boats gather on The Grand Union Canal near Cassiobury Park, Watford, for the The Waterways Festival 2013. Modern boats are moored alongside historic vessels, sometimes three-a-breast, for more than a mile along the tow path in Hertfordshire. All Rights Reserved - F Stop Press. www.fstoppress.com.
